SNOWBALL - INTERNATIONAL ART PROJECT

Snowball, the symbol of Global Warming Project started on 19th-20th, and 25th April in Kyoto and will carries on till year 2018.
You can participate in the project by crocheting small snowball(s) from used white plastic shopping bags and send them to visual artist Anne Pehkonen in Finland.

The finished Big Snow Ball will be handed over to the Leader of the country hosting the International Global Warming Conference.


We are Having Weather
A project that uses photographs to communicate
both weather and emotion, across geography and time.

Is a group of visual artists,
musicians and dance artists from
Ireland, Finland and Russia.
Synthesis is the outcome of
the first collaborative period of Kipinä.
It was created initially to be shown at Kihaus Festival,
Rääkkylä, Finland, July 2006.

Synthesis was then brought to
the Manege Exhibition Hall, St. Petersburg, in August 2006.

Synthesis The imagery, music and gestures of Synthesis are
sourced from mythologies, from Irish, Finnish and Russian cultures.

Water, Air, Earth and Fire are the features of the body of Synthesis. The live performance and music move through, create and interact with the materials of installations pertaining to each element.
