KOLI- Environmental Art Festival and Community based Art Project 2013-2015

The project takes place in Finnish national landscape, the National Park of Koli and and Koli village in the summer 2013-2015.

The Koli-project aims at producing an environmental art festival with the focus on interaction, communality and site spesific art orientation. It will be produced together with professional artists, educational institutions, traveling industry, experience design and local communities. The environment art festival will start with Nordic co-operation and it will broaden into an international event.

We are Having Weather
A project that uses photographs to communicate
both weather and emotion, across geography and time.
Transcultural Exchange International Internet Photography Project coordinated by
Miriam Songster, NY & Hege Dons Samset, Berlin. See blog.weatherphotos.org/

This on-line photography project will be exhibited at venues in Boston, MA and Shanghai, China.

Is a group of visual artists,
musicians and dance artists from
Ireland, Finland and Russia.
Synthesis is the outcome of
the first collaborative period of Kipinä.
It was created initially to be shown at Kihaus Festival,
Rääkkylä, Finland, July 2006.

Synthesis was then brought to
the Manege Exhibition Hall, St. Petersburg, in August 2006.

Synthesis The imagery, music and gestures of Synthesis are
sourced from mythologies, from Irish, Finnish and Russian cultures.

Water, Air, Earth and Fire are the features of the body of Synthesis. The live performance and music move through, create and interact with the materials of installations pertaining to each element.
